What Customers Say About Sandisk 1GB Sansa m240 MP3 Player with Digital FM Tuner PINK (SDMX3-1024-A18B Pink):

I wish it was a 2GB however. Other than that - it's good for what it is and a whole lot easier than toting a CD Player around. It's no iPod, but it works OK and is not hard to use. It also lacks an internal clock, thus disallowing use of time-sensitive audio-book downloads from the library (they didn't note this in the write-up on it).

Hopefully, I won't have to. After one and half years of having my Nextar MP3 1gb player, the earphone jack suddenly quit, I was forced to find another MP3 Player. No problems with the earphone jack. This one takes a AAA battery. I truly love this brand and model. It has been very easy to use. The only thing I did not use was the disk that came with it.

All I had to do was plug in the mp3 and use Windows Media player to download songs on it. After doing some reasearch I dedided on a SanDisk. Right now I give it 5 Stars I use it six times per week for about an hour while I do my walk. On May 27, 2009, I bought this model. If there are any problems later on down the road with this MP3 Player, I will post another review. After searching for another inexpensive player and not finding any.

I did not want a rechargable battery because of all of the feedback that said you can not replace any recharable battery on any MP3 player. Easy to read display. Will follow up if I have any problems. I want everyone to know I just bought this item. I tried a Staples brand and had to return it the next day for the very same reason. Free plastic case.

They're only 10 or so bucks at Wal*mart.Hope you enjoy. It's also easy to scroll through the various stories and he does it easily once we showed him how, but if you're going to give one to your young child don't overload the player with too many books/songs as they may get frustrated with having to scroll through too many titles to find the one they're looking for.The ear buds are acceptable, but if you have them in your ears for several hours (listening to it around the house, etc). It holds a ton of music. One reviewer mentioned an FM tuning problem, but I noticed that she used it in the gym and I've never had good reception either when I've used it in a brick and mortar building on the second floor, but in my house and around and about it's been great.Do take time to learn the player and how files are organized (this is a function of your software program, I believe) but once you understand how things are organized, smooth sailing. I replaced the ear buds with the type of headphones that sit on your ear and not in them and this made a big difference in the level of comfort.I gave it only four stars because of the capacity of the player. We listen to audio books and [.].

I am moving up in the MP3 playing world to something that holds more audio books as I'd like to put both my children's as well as my own audio books on them so we can all listen in the car with the cassette adapter -- which is a real must. We purchased one for our 5-year-old son to listen to children's audio stories and he sits listening, enraptured, to the stories, which is a great way to help him develop auditory learning. even supports this player, which we were thrilled to learn. We purchased this little player from [.].as our first foray into the MP3 playing world and I've not been disappointed. It holds a dozen or so audio books depending on the size of the files with each book lasting anywhere from a few minutes up to 8 or so hours.

then they may get a little uncomfortable, but several hours is a long time.

It takes one triple A battery, which I don't like. If it dies, and you don't have a battery around the house, you're out of luck. 3. This was the only reason I bought this was for the FM tuner so I could listen to the TV at the gym. I feel it is going to break any week. I have since learned they make an adapter for the iPod which allows you to listen the FM tuner. They are useless.4.

Moreover, it just seems cheaply made. The FM tuner sucks. And buy the FM adapter. Final advice: Generally speaking, you get what you pay for. I should haven't to read the instructions in order to figure how to get to a station I want to listen to. Here is why: 1. Compared to and iPod, which can be plugged into an outlet, this is big inconvenience.

It's difficult to explain, but it's not easy to use. The headphones are joke. This cost me $25, but I wish I would have spent a little more money and got, perhaps, the new iPod shuffle. Please don't buy this. 2. They are worst than the headphones they give you for free on an airplane on a international fight.

It lasted a while on one battery. I would definitely recommend this product. I also love that it came with an arm band so I can exercise with it. The booklet that came with it didn't offer much help, yet I was able to figure it out pretty easy. It was super easy to load music onto. I bought this mp3 player about a month ago and wondered why I didn't have one before. In fact I have tried to help people load their i pods and this was by far much easier. I like that it uses a battery instead of having to wait for it to charge on a computer.
